Make Penpal Letters!

Make Penpal Letters invites volunteers to create cheerful handwritten cards and penpal-style notes for hospitalized children, seniors, and students. The program is flexible enough for one person at home and organized enough for clubs, classes, families, and service groups.

Classroom Letter Exchange

Classroom Letter Exchange is a planned penpal-style program that would connect classrooms through guided, teacher-approved letters. The goal is to make the exchange meaningful for students while keeping it simple for teachers and respectful of student privacy.

  • Designed as an optional one-time exchange before becoming ongoing
  • No personal addresses or private contact information shared
  • Letter prompts and templates provided to reduce teacher workload
  • All letters reviewed by participating teachers before delivery
